Dyess Testing Laboratory, Inc. was established in 1968. The name was changed to Dyess-Peterson Testing Laboratory, Inc. in 1993. The lab was located at 506 S. Lipscomb from 1968-1995. In 1995, the lab was moved to a newly built 20,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility located at 1700 S.E. 22nd Street in Amarillo. The Company employs over thirty people. In 1998, a second office was purchased at 5853 49th Street in Lubbock, Texas. The building was renovated and on January 2, 1999, a full service laboratory was opened to serve Lubbock and the surrounding area. The Lubbock laboratory is staffed with a Supervisor and four technicians. Our mobile laboratories serve clients throughout Texas. Our laboratories meet the requirements of ASTM E329 and ASTM D3740.
